The New York State
Department of Taxation and Finance has developed the Business
Taxpayer Page - a portal on the Department's Web site that provides
businesses with quick access to innovative e-Tax services and tax information
tailored to their needs. The portal offers visitors direct links to:
- business tax information,
- frequently asked questions,
- information about New York's growing list of tax incentives,
- a tax calendar that shows filing dates and provides links to needed
tax forms,
- information about starting and growing a business,
- a list of outreach events designed to help taxpayers,
- information about how taxpayers can contact the Department and get
questions answered,
- tax benefits for small businesses under the Empire
Zones program.
The
New York State
Department of Taxation and Finance and the
Business
Taxpayer Page also feature a growing list of
electronic services that promote self-service, making it easier for
customers to conduct business with the Department at their convenience.
The Business Taxpayer Page also provides a link to NYBIZTAX,
a joint initiative with the New York City Department of Finance that
provides information about New York State, New York City, and federal
business taxes.
